Turbo C C++ Free Download For Windows XP And Installation Process

Turbo C++, a programmer software developed by Borland International, Inc. In this software, we will write the program in c or c++ language which is being compiled by the software in machine language (Binary Language) so that it is easily understandable by the

computer.

History

It has features borrowed from ALGOL, BCPL (Basic Combined Programming Language) and B.
In 1972, Dennis Ritchie developed ‘C’ language.
Got recommendation from ISO (International Standard Organisation) and ANSI (American National Standard Institution) for its highly professional platform.

Procedure to Download and Install Turbo C C++

Download Turbo C++ in Local Disk C location only.

2. Open zip file and click install icon. A Command Prompt window will open.
3. To maximise it click ALT + Enter.
4. Press Enter to Continue.

5. Change source drive to C from A and press enter.

6. After in next page if your source path is automatically detected then click enter
7. If not then enter the source path and continue.

TURBOC~1 a path which is automatically detected

8. After that press F9 to start the installation and your installation is complete.
9. To start with it Go to Local Disk C → Open TC → Open BIN → TC.EXE

You can use C++ as C by saving a file with dot C extension instead of dot CPP extension.

Another Process Of Installing Turbo C/C++ In XP (Manual Process)

If somebody is facing problems like too many directories, empty disc and anything related to this, then download this zip file - TC and extract it in local disk C using Winrar. After that follow Step 9 directly and you are ready to execute programs.

@nadeem, First of all, save the folder of Turbo C++ in Local Disk C only (Not in sub folder of Local Disk C). Then if you run the installer, it will automatically detect the path of source files. Further to run the C software after installation, Go to Local Disk C → Open TC → Open BIN → MS Dos TC

Go to the C drive, then click on the tc folder, then go to bin. in that folder you will find a icon with the name tc. Click on it

Dude.. you know? if you have installed it in some other drive.. you just need to go to directory option and you need to change it from C(default) to whichever location u have installed...

@ Ali, You unzip the turbo C++ in local disk c only not in sub folders of c (i.e programs, documents and setting, etc)and start the installation from there, if the installation did not automatically detect the path source then write this path source "\TURBO~1" and continue the installation. Later click F9 to start the installation.

Sreelekha, You first extract the turbo c folder in local disk C only (Not in sub folder of C) then start the installation of Turbo C and you will not face the problem mentioned above.

hey,
zip file is like winrar it used to compress the data.
to extract this you should have zip software.

Hey Deepthi.. Go to Start by clicking the windows logo on your keyboard(only if u dont use classic start menu)

And you can extract the files by using the winrar application

Go to the zipped folder of turbo C and then all you have to do is right click on it and click extract files and give the location :)

press ctrl + Enter to Zoom into full screen..

Or if you use windows 7 you need to do is download the dosbox 0.74 or latest version.

to change the extention to c you should follow below steps:
1. open c that is blue screen will appear
2. save it first by pressing f2
for example: D:\turboC\filename.c
that .c will convert the compiler into c.
3. do programming and save it then execute it.

If Windows 7 try downloading MSDOS box 0.74 or latest
you will get it.

You need not search for ms dos in Bin folder.
all you have to do is open Bin.
search the file named TC. (TC is itself a MS-Dos file) you will get it.
