Gone are the days when we used to plug in our iPod during class or during a boring family meeting or be it hanging it out with friends. Now with the birth of real OS smartphones, I feel iPod has been overshadowed by these Mighty-Bulky-Powerful plastic handheld "phones". But Apple never leaves us especially when we sometimes need to be old-fashioned. Read on find out ore what Apple had quietly released way back in 2012.
Right when you think you need an iPod, the first thing that comes to your mind is Apple. The one company nobody ever expects to do miracles (especially after seeing the release of iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c) but is synonymous with music for teens or for working adults during the gym. No matter how old you are you always want a new shiny iPod touch.
The iPod Touch 5th Gen comes with a 4inch IPS LCD Display with 640 x 1136 resolution and iOS 7 so we have a (run down) iPhone 5 sans the 8MP camera and A6 chip and ofcourse the calling facility. You ask why? Its an iPod for crying out loud!. Nonetheless the iPod 5G comes with a 5MP Autofocus rear camera thats capable of recording 1080p videos and a 1.2MP front facing camera with 720p HD video, Dual core A5 chip and double the RAM from previous generation iPod Touch. So performance wise this iPod Touch rocks any games thrown at it. The iPod has lost quite a weight and thins out at 6.1mm with an aluminium back. For those hobos who are bound to drop anything that sits in their hands, there is a loop so that a loop band clicks in and you can wear the band. Finally it comes with faster Bluetooth 4.0 and better Wifi reception. The new set of earpods also come along with this bad boy so it makes your listening experience even more sicker. Now when it comes down to cost we don't really see a price drop but the iPod Touch 5G sits in comfortably at $229 for the 16gig model and $299 for 32gigs and $399 for 64gigs. Colors available are Silver, White, Sea blue and Red. Watch the video review below to see if you wanna relive your teenage years. Don't forget to comment and share this post with your friends.
