You must have used your iPhone and iPad for showing your friends and family beautiful photos and movies. But when you do, you realise the battery drain on your device is so much that your "iDevice" literally starts to cry like Drake. So Apple came up with the Apple TV that lets you see your favorite movies and photos while you text your loved ones. Read on to know how this is done.
If you remember back in 2010 Apple first introduced the Apple TV. Then a year later viz. 2011 the 2nd Generation Apple TV was born with a single core Apple A4 chip which supported 720p videos. Now with the 3rd Geneation Apple has decided to sweeten your entertainment with FULL HD 1080p video content. The 3rd Gen Apple TV comes with a Remote that is super easy to use and lasts really long on its battery that is supposed to be accessed at the back of the remote. Next comes a Powercord that sticks right in to the back of the Apple TV and the other end goes into the power socket. You don't get an HDMI cable but we wished Apple provided one. The Apple TV now supports iCloud integration which means it can render content you store in your cloud giving you the freedom to watch what you like be it movies, home videos or even photos. However, Apple lets you rent, preview and buy movies, TV shows. The cost seems to be phenonmenal but if you have considered buying an Apple TV, you shouldn't be pushed back when you look at the price. The Apple TV even lets you AirPlay meaning your favourite movies and games come alive on your big HD TV.
Now when you plug in your Apple TV it connects to your Wifi. After this its all Apple. you are welcomed with a carousel like interface with all your purchased movies(if any) and Tv shows based on their popularity. If you select a movie or a TV show you can see the reviews from various reputed TV critics like Rotten tomatoes and you can even see the cast of the particular Movie and Tv show. Once you have selected what you want to watch, just sit back and let the Single Core A5 chip do all the work. The Apple TV 3rd Generation seems to have a better grasp on your Wifi so watching FULL HD 1080p videos is an absolute pleasure. There are various apps that come pre-installed with the Apple TV but Apple has not disclosed any plans on whether or not it will release 3rd Party Apps. Nonetheless, The interface is as simple as it can get so watch your movies and TV shows without the pesky ads you get on your usual satellite TV.
