Windows 10, the most awaited windows upgrade is likely to be launched in July this year. Those who want to upgrade to windows 10 can easily do it via the upgrade notification but the people who don’t want to upgrade may find the upgrade notification irritating as it keeps coming repeatedly.
We can hide the notifications or we can disable it permanently from our systems. In order to hide the notifications you may consider these steps:
Step 1: Firstly right click the task bar and click properties.
step 2: Following to the previous step click customize, then you will be redirected to the customize tab.
step 3: In the icons section find GWX then under the behaviors tab click the ‘show icon and notifications’ to change it to ‘hide icon and notifications’
The only problem is that after restarting your computer the settings may automatically be changed back to how they were before and notifications will pop-up again. In order to remove this notification tool permanently, you need to remove the update completely from your computer.
Step 1: Go to control panel and search for programs and select it.
Step 2: In the programs menu click on the programs and features tab.
Step 3: After that you need to see on the top left side of the window saying ‘view installed updates’, where every update has its unique code but for the removal of notification (KB3035583) you need to find a specific number.
Then for the removal of the notification you need to search for ‘update for Microsoft windows (KB3035583)’ then right click and uninstall it. Later you need to restart your computer for completing the process.
